Your location will be the background to both the feel and the photographs of your session. You'll want to choose a place that's meaningful to you - maybe it's a place you've never been, or maybe it's a place that holds your heart. Maybe you'll travel with your love and the baby you carry to a beautiful faraway place, or maybe you want to go home to your family farm. Think of a place where you'll feel free to connect and be yourself.
choosing your location
One of the most important elements in your photographs will be your wardrobe. While I do have a client wardrobe, you'll most likely opt to shop for yourself so you can try on your outfits and tailor if necessary. I'm here to give you suggestions on colors and styles that will photography beautifully and help you achieve the style you want!
styling your session
You'll get to see all of our planning come to life! Start the day being pampered with hair and makeup, then join me at the most perfect setting to enjoy time with your family. Truly live these moments - explore together, take it all in! Our time together is meant to be an event and adventure in itself - you just get to walk away with gorgeous photgoraphs as a bonus!
Session Day!
Within 2 weeks of our time together, you'll receive all of the hand-edited images from your session. You'll be able to share and print directly from your online gallery. You also have the option to have a custom-designed heirloom album to display and enjoy in your home for years to come.

Yes! You receive the printing rights to your images which are delivered via digital download. You can order prints and products directly from your gallery and I am happy to design an heirloom album from your session.
do you provide the digital files?
All sessions and styling appointments are scheduled on weekdays. One weekend a month is reserved with sunrise and sunset availability for select locations.
If you want to capture the freshness of your newborn, I suggest scheduling when baby is 5-14 days old. However, there is never a wrong time to document your baby!

You are welcome to choose from my studio wardrobe which is a well-curated selection of pieces for mamas and children, designed to photograph beautifully and save you time and expense, or I am more than happy to create a customized styling guide designed around your venue and vision. I always suggest a neutral color palette with texture and movement.
what do we wear?
I would suggest reaching out as soon as you feel comfortable with your pregnancy to ensure we can schedule your session during the timeframe you'd like. My schedule typically books up 3-4 months in advance.
when should we book?
I find the window between 28 and 32 weeks to work best for most expectant mothers. You will have a beautiful baby bump, but won't yet be feeling swollen or uncomfortable.
when should we schedule a maternity session?
