As your Washington DC family photographer, I love to take you to beautiful, quiet locations where you can really connect with your family. This sweet family joined me at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens for a lovely session together.

We spent time along the beautiful, tree-lined road and mom and dad were able to let their little guy walk and explore. He spend time picking up stones and admiring the trees.

We let him play by himself and he spent time with each of his parents separately. I love getting to document how different the relationships are between a child and both of his parents. Little ones are always super snuggly with Mom and give lots of kisses. They go straight to Dad when they want tickles or to be thrown in the air!

As we moved from the road to the garden, the little guy quickly discovered the beautiful flowers. He spent time exploring and even selected some to share with his mother. What sweet moments for them to cherish for years to come!
