While I love outdoor maternity sessions, as your Washington, DC maternity photographer, I know that going outdoors isn’t always an option. The summertime can be brutal with heat, humidity, and bugs. And the temperature and winds can often be unbearable in the winter. I’m so pleased to be able to offer my clients the option of using my studio space. Whether it’s because you desire a more minimal or editorial look, or you just prefer to be more comforable than the elements allow, you are guaranteed to have a gorgeous sessions indoors!
Weather absolutely played a part in the decision to take this session indoors. In fact, the day of the session I was having to shovel and salt the walkway every few minutes. I love that clients only have to walk a few steps from the driveway to the front door. That becomes even more important when you’re carrying a carseat and all of baby’s accoutrement!
I would love to help you document your own motherhood story. If you would like more information about a session with me, I’d love to invite you to send a little note my way here.
Did you know my studio wardrobe is available to all of my clients? I know how challenging it can be to find pieces that you love for an ever-changing body. My studio wardrobe is a well-curated collection of boutique and designer dresses for both new and expectant mothers. I also have beautiful options for children up to around age 8.
