As your Alexandria, Virginia newborn photographer, some of my favorite sessions are quiet, intimate motherhood sessions. Just you and your baby. Sweet details like flaky skin and the way your hand gently and naturally curves around his head. Feeding your baby. That holy connection that anyone in the room can feel. The sweet and special relationship forever documented in photographs for both of you.

One day you’ll look back at these photographs and realize how strong you were. You’ll see that you were all your baby needed. These early days are so hard. They’re isolating and can be filled with self-doubt. It’s so hard to see that you’re doing it – with grace – when you’re right in the middle of it. I hope that one day, the images I create for you will help you see the connection and strength you had right from the very beginning.
