This sweet mama was the winner of my Mother’s Day giveaway! She’s expecting her second little one, so while we did pay some extra attention to that little baby bump, I spent most of the session documenting the sweet bond between mama and the girl who made her. In just a few short months, both of them will forever be changed by the little life inside mama. I think it’s so special to capture their relationship as it is now. Just mama and her girl. One day this big sister will look back at these images and remember this sweet time. These first years when she was the center of her family’s world. And one day, mama will be able to look at these and remember what it was like to have just one little hand to hold. As your Washington, DC maternity photographer, it is such an honor to create these photographs that I know will become more and more valuable as time marches on.
