As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I love getting to photograph older siblings in the maternity session, and then see them again once baby is here. I had so much fun playing with these older twin brothers when we met at Oatlands Historic House & Gardens. You can see that session here. They were full of questions and excitement and I knew they would make the best big brothers!

When this little family arrived at the studio, I knew I was in for the best session! As with all session with older siblings, we worked our way through sibling and family shots first. How perfect are these?

Once we were finished with the brothers, they were able to play, take a break, and have a snack in the studio while we documented some sweet moments with Mom and Dad. I think these photographs are so special, especially when it’s Baby #3. I love that one day this little boy will get to see his mother and father just completely enamored with him.

And once Dad was finished, we sent him and the boys to the playground across the street to stretch their legs and get the wiggles out. I just love that I can provide my families with a studio space that I can use to create beautiful imagery, but that also works so well for young families. Aren’t these photographs of mom and her youngest little love just beyond heartwarming?!
