This mom gave me a call a few days before Baby E was born and asked if I could squeeze in a newborn session. I served this family in 2019 as their Washington, DC newborn photographer for big brother, so I was so happy to find some space in my schedule for them. It’s so much fun to see your families grow. I couldn’t wait to see big brother a few years later.
Though we did their first newborn session at their home, Mom elected to have a studio session to document Baby E. While in-home sessions are so special, there are a lot of benefits to having a studio session. The light is gorgeous, the look is pure and minimal, and best of all, you don’t have to clean your house! I make sure to have drinks and snacks for you, and you have a comfortable couch to hang out on while I work through our time together. I can’t tell you how many moms and dads sneak in a nap. If you’re hesitant to book a studio session because you think you won’t be comfortable – please know that I hope you feel like you can spread out and relax with me!
I would love to help you document your own family’s story. If you would like more information about a session with me, I’d love to invite you to send a little note my way here.
Did you know my studio wardrobe is available to all of my clients? I know how challenging it can be to find pieces that you love for an ever-changing body. My studio wardrobe is a well-curated collection of boutique and designer dresses for both new and expectant mothers. I also have beautiful options for children up to around age 8. You can read more about my studio wardrobe here and see a gallery of dresses available to you here.
