As your Washington, DC maternity photographer, one of the most common questions I receive is “What location do you suggest for our session?” I spend hours of time each month scouting out the area – near and far – to find interesting and unique locations for my clients. While you and your family are the most important part of any session with me, I want you to have an amazing experience during our time together. I want you to feel inspired and connected. And I want your experience to be something you will always remember. Posing for pictures in a municipal park just doesn’t do it for me – I want more for you!

This mama had her heart set on the gorgeous Great Marsh Estate as the setting for her maternity session. At about an hour’s drive outside of the city, you feel like you’re entering a different world. It’s so nice to get out of the traffic and crowds, and have this gorgeous estate all to yourselves. What a wonderful setting in which to enjoy a few quiet hours together as you celebrate the little life to come while honoring the life you’ve built together.
