I was so excited to meet this mama when she set up her maternity session, but she reached out to tell me that she’d been put on bedrest. Unfortunately, that maternity session wasn’t going to happen. Just a few weeks later, Baby O made her debut, a whole 7 weeks early. I was thrilled when Mama let me know they were home from the NICU and ready to schedule her newborn session. As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I am so invested in you and your sweet baby. I am always thinking about you as I see your due date approach on my calendar. Though little O couldn’t wait that long, it was a joy to meet and photograph her on her actual due date!

Since Mom and Dad already had 7 weeks of parenting under their belts, they were pros! Dad was in charge of swaddling and already had it down. But almost 2 months in, the excitement and joy that comes with a new baby was still there. You can see it all over their faces!
