As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I am always humbled when you ask me to document your early days with your little one. I’m often one of the first people you let into that quiet, intimate space that you’re sharing with your baby. These early days are so very special. You’re just learning how to nurture and care for your newborn, but the connection between you is so strong. These days are a blur as you live them and will hardly seem real when you look back at them preserved in photographs.

That’s why I create the photographs for you that I do. I want you to always remember that perfect little newborn profile and the softness of her hair. One day you won’t believe that you could hold her in just one hand, or that she would sleep so soundly on your shoulder. It will seem impossible that her hand wrapped around your finger, or her feet fit in your hands.
