As your Northern Virginia newborn photographer, while I absolutely love documenting your fresh new baby, it’s always so much fun to witness and photograph older siblings as they welcome a new little person in to their lives. I usually get to see all of the emotions and reactions in the short time we’re together. A little bit of shyness, some curiosity, acceptance and love, and maybe a little bit of frustration. They are all such genuine and authentic reactions.

I know sometimes we have in mind the images we want to see, but my hope is that in 20 years, you’ll treasure the photographs that truly document the way these first few weeks and months feel for your family.
