As your McLean, Virginia maternity photographer, I wake up every morning and immediately check the weather forecast. It seems to change hourly and is rarely accurate. Unfortunately, this poor family had to reschedule their session twice due to rain and heavy winds. Third time was definitely the charm because look at this sunshine! I just love how the light hits the water and reflects like a mirror out here. All of these natural elements, the rocks, sun, water – they create such a stunning backdrop for your session.

We spent a perfectly wonderful evening out here together celebrating this little one to come. I cannot wait to see this crew again as a family of 4 in a few short weeks!
