As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, one of the best compliments is to have a family reach out who was referred by a previous client. I love when you love the work I’ve done for you enough to send your friends and family my way! Such is the case with this lovely family, and I’m so thankful for the connections that sent them my way!

Dad reached out a few days after sweet Baby V was born and we were able to get her in the studio when she was just 12 days old. She is such a tiny, beautiful little thing, isn’t she? Those early days can seem overwhelmingly hard – there’s just no way to fully understand how all-consuming it will be. But, I think it’s so special to document that newness. The flaky hands and feet, the little round bell. Such sweet newborn goodness.

This family made a special request to include their beloved dog. How could I resist?! Dogs and babies are just about the best combination out there! You know in a few short months these two will be the best of friends and will be causing all kinds of trouble throughout the house together. It’s so special to have this relationship documented from the very beginning!
