As a newborn photographer in the Washington, DC area, it is such an honor to have another photographer trust me to document special motherhood moments for her. I was so thrilled when Jessica reached out to schedule her little boy’s milestones sessions. My goodness what a beautiful pair they are! We were able to document little Baby G as he played with mama, giving both us of the sweetest little smiles. Then he nursed a bit and we created some beautiful photographs of their breastfeeding journey. And finally, this little guy fell asleep in his mamas arms and snuggled up to her to take a little nap.

Oh how I wish I could go back and time and have these moments documented. I have an occasional snapshot of me, barely holding it together, as I tried to nurse both of my twins, or as they climbed all over me on the floor or bed. But what a treasure to have these everyday motherhood moments documented in such a beautiful way. It’s gift for yourself and your little one not just for now – but in 20 years, when these early days are just a hazy dream.
