When you choose to work with me as your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I put your estimated due date on my calendar and am counting down the days (almost!) as eagerly as you are! I was so thrilled when Mama reached out to tell me Baby M was here!

After working with this mother to document her maternity, I knew she had a calm, peaceful presence. I just knew her little one would be the same. This little guy was so content throughtout his entire session. His mother woke him to eat just once. Then he stayed awake to listen to his mother’s voice and try to focus on her face. It’s so touching to watch your newborn try to follow your voice! He then fell peacefully asleep again for a few more portraits. I am so glad he came to visit me! It was a joy to meet him and to see this mother with her baby boy in her arms!
