As your Washington, DC maternity photographer, I know that you have your choice of dozens of gorgeous locations for your session. But, in my opinion, the US National Arboretum is just about as good as it gets! You never know what’s going to be in bloom, but there’s always something! For this session, the larkspur was absolutely stunning – and that was perfect for this boy mom! After spending some time with the blooms, we moved up to the US Capitol Columns. On a sunny day, the light is just unbeatable up here!

It was important for Mom and Dad to include their buddy Duke in their session. I couldn’t have been happier! If you’ve followed me for any time, you know that I absolutely love to include your pet – they’re a part of your family! He was such a quiet, shy little guy, but was so happy to be there celebrating with Mom and Dad!
