I absolutely loved getting out in the morning to document this Zaanse Schans maternity session. If you’re planning to babymoon in The Netherlands, I highly recommend a visit to this traditional Dutch village. You’ll find sheep, ducks, windmills, and the most idyllic homes and gardens all set along the water. You can even take part in workshops that share more about the making cheese or the famous wooden shoes.

We met at sunrise and had the most quiet, peaceful start to the day. We strolled through the streets and explored the waterways with the only visitors being a few hens and a barn cat. Such a gorgeous place in which to document your pregnancy while getting out to explore the world!
