What could be more fitting to welcome a little baby girl than a cherry blossom maternity session?! When this mother reached out, she knew she wanted to have blooms, but the cherry blossoms are notoriously hard to schedule around. We decided we’d book a date and just see what happened. As it turned out, the date we scheduled ended up being right in the middle of peak bloom at the Tidal Basin.

Seeing the cherry blossoms during peak bloom is always worth the extra hassle. You definitely have to prepare for tourists and traffic and have an early alarm that morning! Mom and Dad look amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous backdrop! Cannot wait to see them with a baby in their arms in just a few short weeks!
