Your location will be the background to both the feel and the photographs of your session. You'll want to choose a place that's meaningful to you - maybe it's a place you've never been, or maybe it's a place that holds your heart. Maybe you'll travel with your love and the baby you carry to a beautiful faraway place, or maybe you want to go home to your family farm. Think of a place where you'll feel free to connect and be yourself.

Session Day!
Within 3 weeks of your session, you’ll receive the digital images from our time together. They’re all yours to share with your family and friends, to print and hang on your walls, or to save in a beautiful, heirloom album so you can enjoy them for generations to come.

Of course! Having professional hair and makeup can certainly help you feel extra confident - and you deserve a little pampering! I’m happy to send referrals your way!
I love to travel and not much is off limits for me. Let me know where you want to go and I'll meet you there! Favorites are the Alps, Venice, Lake Como, Iceland, Zermatt, and Garmisch. On my bucket list is Provence and Tuscany.
Can you help me with a hair and makeup artist?
where do you travel for destination maternity photography?
I encourage expectant mothers to wear dresses or skirts as we’ll be able to show off that baby bump beautifully. Some moms love more flowing dresses while others prefer a fitted silhouette - and either one works well. You also have access to my client wardrobe, but if you’d prefer to have your dress in hand before you travel, I’m happy to help you style your session virtually if you’d like. I’ll create a moodboard with active links for you and your spouse/partner so you can shop online.
what do we wear for our pregnancy portraits?
I would suggest reaching out as soon as you feel comfortable with your pregnancy to ensure we can schedule your session during the timeframe you'd like. My schedule typically books up 3-4 months in advance for Paris maternity photography sessions.
when should we book our European babymoon photos?
If you’re traveling, I’d suggest planning your trip in the 14-28 week range. While it’s safe to travel beyond that, you’ll be more comfortable and be able to enjoy your trip more before you reach the last trimester. If you’re not traveling, any time up until 32 weeks can work beautifully, though I’ve photographed women who were in labor during their maternity session!
