Spring is such a beautiful time of year here in Northern Virignia! The grass and trees come alive, and every year I’m shocked to see beautiful blooms on the trees. They last just for a few weeks, and sometimes days, so it’s such a joy to incorporate them into your maternity session. As a Northern Virginia maternity photographer,I love the symbolism of new life that you can find in the spring!

This sweet mama reached out to ask about documenting her maternity early in the week. Within a few days, we had secured a permit for this dreamy location, set up and met for a styling appointment (where she chose this gorgeous white dress!), and coordinated the super talented Nancy Gaona for hair and makeup. We met for their session that weekend. Though this was probably the fastest I’ve pulled together a session, no detail was spared. I loved every second with this lovely couple and am so happy for them!
