This darling little boy is a member of my First Year Collective. As your Northern Virginia newborn photographer, I love when clients choose to document baby’s first year so I can see your babies grow up! I’ve loved getting to know him, his handsome big brother, and his charming parents over the course of the past year. These 1-year milestone sessions always feel so bittersweet – they’re such a joy, but always come with a bit of sadness as your babies grow up so very quickly!

One year sessions are filled with lots of fun. Little ones get to play with cars and blocks. Sometimes they’re standing and walking all by themselves. They almost always like to show off how easily they can climb onto a chair or bench.

At the end of our time together, your little one is almost always tired and ready to cuddle. These are always some of my favorite images.
