As your Washington, DC maternity photographer, when someone asks for an iconic DC location, the Lincoln Memorial is my first suggestion. It’s hard to beat sunrise coming up over the Washington Monument. You can see the Capitol building in the back and most of the time, you’ll get a visit by some of the ducks in the reflecting pool. That sunrise wake-up call can be rough – especially in the summer when sunrise is so early – but I promise it’s worth it!
