For so many mothers, the first few weeks or months can be so very hard. Everything is different, babies are hard, and there’s often not a lot of positive feedback from your little one. But that soon changes as your baby starts to smile at you and listen to your voice and seek out your face. As you Washington, DC newborn photographer, I absolutely love photographing you with your baby at the 6-month milestone session. There’s always so much connection.

While we definitely create plenty of photographs of baby by himself, I focus on the details and the bond between you. They way he looks at you – and the brightness on your face as you look back. The little milestones – like how proud he is when he starts to stands. The way you lay your hands on your little one, whether for support, comfort, or play. These are all part of your everyday, that one day you’ll never remember.
