As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I often get asked if an in-home or studio session is better. They each have their benefits, but I have such a soft heart for documenting baby in his first home. I think it’s such a special gift to give your little one, these memories of his crib, and perspective of just how tiny he was in it. But, as you’re making the decision, you’ll want to consider the light and space in your home. Having a neutral-colored space with ample light will be a wonderful foundation for light-filled images like this.
