As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I generally don’t have to worry about the weather. However, the first snow of the year almost made us reschedule this one. This session was scheduled in Annapolis just 2 days after people were sharing horror stories of being stuck on I95 for 15+ hours. Fortunately, the roads were cleared and I was able to make it without too much trouble before this sweet baby girl got any older!
You can see the white of the snow outside the windows in several of the photographs we created. I just love the context that adds to this session’s story. But despite the cold and wind outdoors, this little family couldn’t have been cozier indoors. Baby L was about a month old already and though she took a short nap, she spend most of her time awake. I love how much she was already engaging with her Mom and Dad. I can’t think of a better way to spend a snow day!
