I had such a lovely time photographing this mama during her maternity session just a few weeks ago. You can see that session here. I was so excited to hear from here that sweet Baby B was here! As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, one of my favorite things is getting to see your almost overnight transformation into motherhood. No matter how many classes you take or books you read or mamas you talk to – there’s just no way to prepare for what it’s like to hold that baby in your arms. I love hearing you share your birth story and anecdotes from the first few days. Each story is so special and unique and I wish you could see how beautiful you look when you share with me. I hope I do that new mama glow justice as I document you with your new little love.

What’s better than seeing the guy you love turn into a father? New daddies always have this amazing smile – they’re running over with pride and it is just the sweetest thing to photograph!
