As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, it’s always a special treat to get to serve a family who lives in the same town. This little family lives right around the corner from me and I am so thrilled to have gotten to meet them!
I just loved watching this big brother try to figure out exactly what was going on with this tiny new little person. So curious – but still very unsure. You know that one day they’ll be best of friends, but right now, he’s cautiously optimistic! I love that you can see some of that sweet uncertainty throughtout their session.

Big brother spent about an hour with us and then his grandma stopped by to pick him up and take him out to play. This works so well when you have a very young older sibling. It allows for just the right amount of time together as a family, while also allowing you to relax and enjoy a few quiet snuggles with your new baby. I loved every second of my time with this family and hope I get to run into them around town sometime soon!
