My day job is serving as your Washington, DC newborn photographer, but my full-time role is twin momming my own children. I am always so thrilled when I get a chance to work with a twin family. It’s such a special gift to get to be the mother of twins, but I can assure you, there are many moments in those first few months when it seems like an insurmountable task. There is so much mom-guilt about being torn in so many different directions. Feeling like you’ll never be enough for both of them. Feeling like you’re missing all of those little moments – just breathing them in, holding their tiny head in your hands. I try so hard to show twin moms that those moments are happening – and they are enough!

These little girls came unexpectedly, but this mother and father could not have taken on the role more gracefully. Patience and humor are going to get these two through it all. And maybe a little fingernail polish on one of these darling girl’s toes so you can tell them apart!

It was such a joy to spend a morning with them!
