As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I spend most of my time documenting your maternity or newborn sessions. But every phase of motherhood is special. I love watching the connection between you and your baby continue to grow. It’s an honor to get to witness the gentleness between a mother and her baby. The way your hand holds the weight of his head, and the way he rests his sticky little hand on your chest. The way your face brightens as you look at him, and the way his whole face smiles back at you. These are precious little details that sometimes we overlook in the day-to-day.

I always want my photographs to serve as little time capsules for you – whether at the end of a tough day, or in 20 years. I want you to have something to look back on that shows you the beauty in these early days. And more than that, I want your children to see this version of you – and of your relationship. The youth on your face, the grace in your movement. One day they’ll treasure these photographs dearly.
