As a Washington DC maternity photographer, I often have women tell me they feel the most beautiful they’ve ever felt while they are pregnant. Women’s bodies are truly amazing and beautiful!

I am always honored when you choose to share your journey to motherhood with me. I always want to create space for you to share how you’re feeling. Motherhood is beautiful and rewarding, but it can be isolating and knock-you-down hard. Sometimes it helps to know you’re not alone with whatever you’re feeling.

This session was about celebrating the quiet beauty that is pregnancy. Mom chose to celebrate her pregnancy with a quiet, intimate maternity session in my studio. We moved slowly and took our time so she could feel comfortable.

This mama looks absolutely stunning! What a beautiful baby bump she has.

The beautiful blush color of these pieces look so soft and lovely on mama. The robe drapes so luxuriously and the lace adds such a feminine detail to this intimate session.

I love this intimate look at Mama alone with her unborn baby. Do you remember talking to your little one while you carried them inside you?

I love that in several of the photographs we created, Mama has a sweet smile on her face. She would laugh when baby would kick and move. Though she may not feel those kicks inside her much longer, she’ll always have these beautiful photographs to look back on.
