I’m so sad to miss out on your next big milestones, but am excited to start a new chapter with my family in Germany. To say that Lauren knows and loves all things D.C. is an understatement. She graduated from college on the National Mall, got engaged in Georgetown, had her first look on the steps on the Lincoln Memorial. Now, she has her two little ones in tow as she explores “D.C. for families”.

As much as she loves capturing families among D.C. grand architecture, she adores the slower, mundane moments that happen at home. No matter where your session is held, Lauren takes a playful, lifestyle approach to her sessions, allowing your family’s true personalities to come out. She adores serving mothers in every stage of their motherhood, and making sure their sessions are a moment to freeze time and look back on with so much joy. 

A bit more about Lauren: Her first career was working as a communications consultant for education organizations and schools – you could say that helping children has been a theme in her work – and it’s a job she still holds while also serving her photography clients. She and her husband met in college pep band (both trumpet players) and have two wonderful little ones. When she’s not balancing play dates and pick ups, she loves exploring with her family, both the city they call home and the amazing nature around them.
