Ansley and I had been planning and anticipating her maternity session for months – we were so excited to capture the last few weeks of waiting for not just 1 baby, but 2! This family will be welcoming twin girls in May!

Ansley knew immediately that she wanted the session to take place on her family’s estate where she and her husband were married just a few years earlier. I love when clients choose to hold their sessions in a location that is meaningful to them!

We were hoping the springtime flowers would be in bloom and we were so happy with all of the greenery and colors! Not only did we have the beautiful hibiscus and citrus fruits scattering the ground, but some lavender was beginning to blossom as well. Ansley’s choice of this light pink dress from the studio wardrobe so perfectly complements her skin tone and hair color and is a sweet homage to the little girls on the way. I cannot wait to meet these girls as this family quickly grows to a family of five!
