As your Stuttgart maternity photographer, I always look forward to the changing of the seasons. It seems that the transition from winter to spring is universally appreicated. We finally start getting a little more sunshine and the beautiful blooms start showing up. The weather can be a little bit tricky in the spring, but it’s always worth being just a little bit chilly.

Magnolia Blossoms

I think that a springtime maternity session that focuses on the blooms is so symbolically apropos. Spring always feels like a fresh start, full of hope and wonder for the new life all around you. And when you’re expecting, you feel that same sense of wonderment – you’re filled with dreams and hopes – for the little life you’re carrying.

As a Stuttgart maternity photographer, I always have my eye on the weather and the buds on the trees. We were lucky that the timing worked for this sweet couple’s maternity session. We had to reschedule for some springtime rains, but were lucky enough to reschedule for when these beautiful magnolia blossoms were just beginning to open.

Cherry Blossoms

While I love the saucer magnolias, some people see them as the headliner to the main event. For so many, the cherry blossoms are synonymous with springtime. And there’s no more iconic location to take in the pink blooms than the Washington, DC Tidal Basin. You can see more of this cherry blossom session here.
