It was such a joy to meet this mother and her newborn son. We spent a calm, sun-filled morning in the studio where she and her baby boy were able to stay fully connected. There were no distractions – no rush. No reason for mama to worry about anything other than soaking in a few moments with this little one, who won’t be little for long. As your Virginia newborn photographer, this is the experience I want you to have as we document your motherhood journey.

This little guy liked to be high on his mama’s shoulder, so we let him stay there, with a full belly. I love that we were able to document these beautiful, wondering eyes.

As he settled and became more content, he fell into a deep sleep in his mama’s arms. Though, every once in a while, he gave us one of those dreamy, newborn grins that you just can’t help but believe is real.

It is such an honor to be invited to share space with you thoughout your motherhood journey. The trust you have in me to witness and document these intimate moments for you is never lost on me.
