With the Covid-19 pandemic still causing disruption in the United States, many families have chosen to postpone their newborn session, or move it outdoors. As your Washington, DC newborn photographer, I can’t say that I mind this one bit! It’s so much fun to document you with your little one when he is a bit older. You’ve learned how to be his mama – you know what he needs by the sound of his cry, and his little giggles light up your whole face. If we’re lucky, we’ll even get to see him smile that sweet, toothless smile!

This sweet family chose to wait until their little one was just about 3 months old. What a fun milestone this is! That perfect, flawless baby skin and those big, round, eyes just melt your mama heart!

Though they live in the DC area, this family chose to hold their session at the gorgeous Swannonoa villa. We all enjoyed a beautiful drive outside of the city and lucked out with one of the first warm days of the year.
