As your Northern Virginia newborn photographer, I love getting to know you and your little family and watching you all grow. I’ve worked with this family for their maternity and newborn sessions and couldn’t wait to see how much Baby C had grown for his 6-month milestone. Since it was peak fall foliage season, of course, we couldn’t resist being outdoors to document how much he’s grown.
We met up at the State Arboretum of Virginia, which is just about an hour and a half outside of DC. We had perfect weather and beautiful colors. Absolutely worth the drive!
We started at the ginkgo grove and were in awe of the beautiful yellow leaves. I loved how they blanked the grass under our feet. After playing in the leaves for a bit, this little guy needed to rest, and quickly took a 5-minute power nap. While he slept, we walked around and visited some of the other areas of the park. We finished off with the soft light of blue hour while Mama nursed her little boy.
I would love to help you document your own family’s story. If you would like more information about a session with me, I’d love to invite you to send a little note my way here.
