This mama wasn’t sure if she wanted to do a maternity session. It was already October and she wasn’t interested in a fall vibe. As your Washington, DC maternity photographer, I make sure to have suggestions for all different styles. This beautifully manicured garden right in the heart of Georgetown was exactly what this mama had in mind. The fact that the roses started blooming again for us just before our session date was icing on the cake!

I love the gardens at Tudor Place. They work perfectly if an elegant, floral-inspired session is what your mama heart desires! Every time I go there’s at least one little bunny who hops through the session, making it extra magical, and bringing joy to any little ones who are lucky enough to spot him.

I am so glad mama decided to document this pregnancy. While life is certainly busy with a toddler at your feet, these days are so special. Documenting the last few months when your first is still your only is such a gift for all of you. In no time at all you won’t even remember what it was like to be just 3!
