As a Washington, DC maternity photographer, the winter months can be challenging for outdoor work. The landscape can look barren and the temperatures can often be challenging to withstand. But, a tough mama, supportive dad, and gorgeous waterfront view made this session such a dream.
Everything really just fell into place to make this an absolutely stunning session. We were lucky enough to have some gorgeous, warming sun, and the wind was still. I love how smooth the water is!
The dress mama chose and her gorgeous golden hair made the perfect combination. I love how well this scene flows together.
These two are seriously the sweetest. What a lucky little baby to get to call these two Mom and Dad! It’s offically baby month for them, and I just can’t wait to meet their little one!
I would love to capture this time in your life – filled with anticipation and joy and that celebrates the life you’ve built together so far. If you would like more information about a session with me, I’d love to invite you to send a little note my way here.
If you’re wondering, I typically photograph maternity sessions in the 28-32 week window. Most moms book their session me with as soon as they’ve passed the first trimester.
Clothing for this expectant mother was provided by the studio wardrobe. I know how hard it can be to shop for and find the right piece for a changing body! I love to serve my clients by helping them coordinate what they will wear for their session, saving you both time and added expense.
